To this end, the Economic and Community Development Department is pursuing a diversified and integrated economic development program that supports infrastructure improvements, human capital building, inward investment, and the creation of local firm clusters. Our mission is to engender inclusive and sustainable economic growth that creates opportunities for both new and existing Daly City residents and businesses while enhancing the City’s sense of place and quality of life.
